The Logo

KFUPM SEAL

KFUPM Seal is one of the strongest emblems of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. It shows authority and authenticity to any communication where it appears. The Seal may be used on any KFUPM communication which reflects KFUPM’s mission or administration. The Seal has a formal and official quality to it.
Primary Logo

The symbol features the University’s famous water tower in the center, a Qur’anic verse circumvented immediately on top, the Holy Qur’an at its bottom, and the founding year of the University on the lower right in Hijri and lower left in Gregorian. The name in Arabic is circumvented on top while the English does the same at the bottom. These elements are bound by an octagonal border with a thick line.
LOGOTYPE

The logotype is the special and specific way the name of the University is written and presented. It is done in both Arabic and English and comes in two variants: formal and informal.
ACRONYM

Admittedly, the name of the University is quite long. For purposes of brevity in certain applications, an acronym is used in lieu of the full name. It is also in logotype form where the width of the Arabic name is twice the width of the English name.

Colors

Generally, the KFUPM logo uses only a single color: green. This green though is reproduced in various ways using varied printing processes. Other allowed colors for the logo are black, white, and gold.

Color reproduction on all paper stock must match PMS 348C. For on-screen presentation, specified color values are set for consistent color reproduction on monitors.

Fonts

There are three fonts officially used by the KFUPM identity. Two are English fonts on is Serif and other is San Serif and the other is Arabic. The appropriate font should be used to match the tone and design of the printed piece it will be used on.
